You’re probably very familiar with meme images by now. Today, people use memes to express sarcasm, tease others, or simply have a good laugh. However, many meme generator tools can be difficult to use. Some require you to download software onto your computer or phone, and others force you to create an account before you can even get started — which means extra steps and wasted time.
I believe most people prefer something simple and fast. Just upload a regular photo, add a few sarcastic or funny lines, download it, and you’re done. No account creation. No complicated process. And if you prefer to stay anonymous while creating memes, I’ll show you how.
First, visit a tool called Memezaar (it’s similar to Imgflip, but much easier to use).
From the homepage, you can browse meme templates right away. Simply scroll down to see the template library and choose one you like. If you’re looking for something specific, just type a keyword into the search bar. The library includes nearly 2,000 collected meme templates for you to choose from.
If you prefer to use your own image, simply click the “Upload Custom” button and upload your photo.
Editing is incredibly simple. You can add text, insert icons, draw freely, or even overlay additional images using the toolbox on the right-hand side. You can also adjust the image colors using the “Color Filters” button below.
Make sure to uncheck “Credit Memezaar (remove watermark)” — the tool does not require you to sign up or pay anything.
Finally, just click “Download Meme” to save the image, or choose “Copy Meme to Clipboard” to instantly copy and paste it wherever you like.
Everything is quick and straightforward. In fact, it’s so simple that you probably wouldn’t even need a guide to figure it out.
